INNACCURATE!!

I'm currently studying for my LCSW and purchased this to supplement other study material. This is not accurate at all. I've found many errors--too many to count. Will try to get a refund, but I wanted to post this to save others! I'm taking a practice test now and have missed questions because of wrong information (a lot of it doesn't reflect the changes b/w DSM 4 and 5).

sexy shifter series!

This was a really sweet story in a series I have really come to enjoy. The book blurb is a touch misleading as there is night quite as much friction between the lead characters as it implies.

Fred is a really nice character and the kind of independent gal Ms Masters has delivered throughout the series. She is looking for a mate but not trying to sacrifice who she is to make it happen. It is great to see her meet and interact with past characters from the series.

Hektor is bold but not overpowering. I really liked him and his whole approach.

The steam factor is higher in the end of the book than others in the series. I do love a good dessert scene! Yummy!

The story here was sweet but a touch bland. No real drama or outside problems to overcome. Just a simple sweet story of two mates finding each other.

Can not wait to see what is next for the Crossroads, so many possibilities!

The first few books I absolutely loved them. But the last few books didn't seem like the author gave it her all and I was rather disappointed. Well not anymore! If the next book is like this I will definitely be buying it.
I absolutely loved this book. I thought the author got her "groove back". I would definitely recommend this amazing book to anyone and everyone. The whole story was very fulfilling. From start to finish this book was amazing. I hope the next book is just as amazing as this one was.
I can't wait to read the next book.

I really enjoyed the story line, both the bear and the bird getting a good intro before showing up at the crossroads. The story had the usual fun air to it, and the mishaps had me smiling. I felt so bad for the both when things just seemed to keep piling up! I'm very pleased with the new caretaker and her making sure the blueberry muffins have continued. Liked the story line, loved the new characters, and cant wait for another one.

Hoping for a hedgehog to show up sometime! Tho I do love those beavers.

Another Stunner

Another aesthetic stunner from Rizzoli. This gorgeous coffee table book is rich with eye candy for those interested in architectural escapism into elegant spaces located in unique landscapes around the world. Admittedly, I bought it based on the cover alone (huge Big Sur fan, here!) and was not disappointed by the hundreds of photographs inside- quite the opposite, indeed. (Also was 3 mimosas deep at time of purchase. Details, details...) Anyway, I've had a handful of guests over since setting it in my living room. Each person flipped through it without me insisting. The Santa Barbara property slays in this book, and I loved how the weather in the San Juan Island property reflected a typical Pacific Northwest mood. Cloudy, mild, and seductive.

very beautiful book

This book highlights very impressive (and high budget) residential architecture. Each project is listed by its owner and location, and well, they are all beautiful and designed with very specific requirements in mind. For an architect, I think this would be a useful book to have. For me, I just like to get ideas and one day hope to design my own home that my husband and I can build ourselves (as much as possible). While the homes highlighted in this book are way out of my budget limits, they are beautiful and offer interesting ideas and ways to dream.

Teaching by Example

Teaching by Example-Henry Ware's book is an eloquent discussion of extemporaneous preaching. Ware's prose is so alive that he makes the reader think she/he is in the presence of a great extemporaneous preacher. He successfully shows that this art gives life to preaching in ways that written discourses do not. Yet, he is clear that extemporaneous preaching requires serious study and training of the mind. He chides laziness and urges that success in this form of preaching is a result of sincere commitment to self-development, and devotion of one's heart to the promotion of religious faith. But it is important to add that the way Ware writes makes the book useful and an asset to, not just preachers, but anyone interested in public speaking.

Henry Ware offered many hints that are wise and helpful for preaching extemporaneously. One of the most fascinating remarks that he made is that almost everyone is eloquent regarding subjects that they are passionate about.

All European countries, including those that have recently joined the European Union or are candidates for membership, currently show a clear trend towards an increasing number of accidental injuries. This holds true for a range of injuries, including accidents among the elderly, sports injuries, and trauma due to traffic accidents. The increase in the number of injuries is accompanied by rising expectations among patients, who anticipate good functional results even after serious injuries. Despite these developments, trauma surgery is not yet established as an independent field in all European countries. Against this background, there is a clear need for a book that covers the state of the art in trauma surgery. This volume, which focuses on basics in trauma surgery is intended to help to meet this need. It will also serve to harmonize the practice of trauma surgery within the European Union and to prepare for the UEMS EBSQ trauma surgery.

Professor Hans-Joerg Oestern, Head of the Dept. for Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, General Hospital Celle. Undergrade studies in Bonn and Vienna. From 1972 - 1979 Residency General Surgery and Trauma Surgery, Hannover Medical School, in 1980 Habilitation. From 1978-1985 Senior Registrar and Vicedirector of Trauma Department of Hannover Medical School (Prof. Tscherne). Since 1985 Chief of Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery in Celle (Teaching Hospital of Hanover Medical School).

Professor Otmar Trentz, Head University Hospital for Trauma Surgery, Zurich. Undergrade studies in Cologne and Wuerzburg, postgraduate studies in Wuerzburg and Hanover. in 1980 he became head of the Hospital for Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery of the Krankenhaus Nordstadt in Hanover. In 1983 he was appointed to a professorship of the University Saarland and Director, Dept. Trauma Surgery of the University Hospital Homburg/Saar. Since 1990 Professor Trentz is head of the Dept. Trauma Surgery at the Medical Faculty of the University Zurich.

About the Author
Born in Cardross, Scotland, A J Cronin studied at the University of Glasgow. In 1916 he served as a surgeon sub-lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteers Reserve, and at the war's end he completed his medical studies and practiced in South Wales. He was later appointed to the Ministry of Mines, studying the medical problems of the mining industry. He later moved to London and built up a successful practice in the West End. In 1931 he published his first book, Hatter's Castle, which was compared with the work of Dickens, Hardy and Balzac, winning him critical acclaim. Other books by AJ Cronin include: The Citadel, Three Loves, The Green Years, Beyond This Place, The Keys of the Kingdom.
